New Aloe Vera handsoap scent is HORRIBLE!!

I have purchased the soothing aloe vera softsoap for years. I specifically purchased it because it had a very light, subtle smell that was unnoticeable. The "new fragrance" is truly awful. It caused my son's allergies to flare up and triggered my migraines. Not only that, the fragrance lingers for hours and does not wash off! The new formula is also harsh and made my skin raw. I threw the whole bottle away, we just couldn't stand it! Why on earth would you want to change a product that used to work so well? Such a shame. I will never buy this again.
Cons: Dries Skin, Horrible smell lingers for hours causes headache, Unpleasant Smell

Horrible Smell and Poor quality

I can't use this anymore. It stinks so bad, my allergies are affected. And it's harsh on my skin, making it raw. Why would you change a perfectly good product?

New fragrance is the worst!!!! Please bring back the original fragrance!! I will not be buying again. Why did you change something that worked the way it was???

The smell lingers for hours after using the product, which is worthy of zero stars. I called the 800 number and verbally registered my dissatisfaction with a customer service representative. Please bring back the original version.

Horrible strong perfume smell

What have you done? I used this soap because it's one of the few that doesn't dry out my hands. There used to be a subtle and soothing scent. Now there's a strong artificial perfume smell that's very unpleasant. Who thought this was a good idea? Why would you change something that people already liked? It's not like there was a huge demand for stronger scents. Please change it back. Many people are sensitive to strong scents. I can't recommend this soap anymore unless this is fixed.

The NEW Frangrance absolutely STINKS!!!

I have been buying the Softsoap Soothing Clean Liquid Hand Soap for quite a while now because I just loved it. However, while I was on vacation, I bought three bottles with the new fragrance, and was shocked at just how AWFUL the new scent is!!! The old "Aloe Vera Fresh Scent" was just WONDERFUL, so I don't understand why Softsoap would change the fragrance. I will now be in search of a liquid hand soap that offers the same moisturizing effect, but without the HORRIBLE new fragrance!
Pros: Cleans Effectively, Moisturizing, Softens Hands
Cons: Unpleasant Smell

I purchased this product for years because it was good for people with sensitive skin & allergies to heavy scents . Why did you go and add this awful smell to the liquid hand soap that was very soothing ? Now I have to find a different product as I will NO longer purchase this product! What a shame for people like me who used that over any other ..... signed , you lost a customer

Hate the new formula!!

I hate the new formula. The old formula was perfect; subtle scent and cleansed my hands without drying them out. This new scent is too strong for me to even try it. I don't care how good of a product something is; if it has a strong fragrance, I will not use it. Until the old formula comes back, I'll be painstakingly trying to find a replacement. I just don't understand companies wanting to change something that's worked for years.
