The new scent is terrible

The new scent change is horrible. The scent is too over powering and lingers in the hands. The scent gave me a headache that took two days to go away. I can't finish the bottle of the new scent. Switch back to the old scent so I can continue to purchase your soap. In the meantime I'm finding a new brand and making sure the new company I purchase from is not owned by Colgate-Palmolive Company.
Cons: Unpleasant Smell

They have changed the scent, now I need a new brand

I have used the brand of soap as my main go to for years. I enjoyed the scent as it was not too strong. It was not drying to my skin and it worked well. They have recently changed the formulation, leaving me very disappointed and in need of a new brand of hand soap. The new smell is terrible! It stays on your skin and is overpowering. It's all you can smell for hours afterwards. It is a sickly sweet smell, similar to scented laundry products. I hate it. And it dries out my skin. My husband says that he hates the smell too and says that it does not work as well as it used to at getting his hands clean after working. Why couldn't you leave well enough alone? It was perfectly fine before you changed it. I will never purchase this soap again as they have ruined it. I am smelling that gross smell from my hands as I type and it is nauseating.
Cons: Dries Skin, Unpleasant Smell, does not work well for very dirty hands

Changed formula and "new fragrance" DO NOT LIKE.

New fragrance change and the formula is not the same anymore. The new smell smells like hair conditioner. The thickness of the soap has also thinned out. I use this soap everyday, buy in bulk, and refill this all the time just like the milk and honey one. Of course I noticed the difference! Very sad. Might switch to Mrs. Meyers. Expensive but at least the smell is consistent. I did NOT receive this as a sample. I buy this soap and am a user.

I loved the originals soothing softsoap. Been using it for as long as I can remember. Keep it in all the bathrooms and the kitchen. It was only type of soap that doesn't bother my allergies. Even my friends and family would keep it on stock for when I come over. Now with the new change, I can't use it. It's awful. Brings on allergy attacks and headaches. Please go back to the original.

Itching all over

Used it in all dispenser for 10 years at least. Suddenly I am itching all over. We are careful to not change products as husband has allergies. This time it was me but took a bit of work to figure out the product had changed. It caused the same itching that the balsam scent soap I bought for powder room last Christmas. Of course then it was only the skin on my hands that was sore. What have you done!!!
Cons: New fragrance causes body itching .

Ruined Product

I've used this product for at least 10 years, probably longer, but the new, completely unnecessary changes have ruined it. It smells very strong and very bad, and it dries out your skin. Time to switch to a new brand! I won't even be finishing the refill sized bottle I bought, straight to the trash can, what a waste.

New Hand soap scent

I agree. This new aloe scent is overpowering and lingers unpleasantly. I've used your soap for years and prefer it over any other but I may have to switch to another now. Please change it back. Most offices and medical facilities don't allow any fragrance and this smell stands out and may get me evicted from doctor offices.
