I have one of these on most of the doors in my house. I love that you can program it to automatically lock after a given time period. No more worrying whether I left a door unlocked. And no more worrying about getting into the house if I lose my keys! And they're relatively easy to install.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Neither of the units I bought worked with any of the phones we tried for setup. The app (which is the only way to set them up) did not function properly on Android or iOS. Even returning them has been difficult, so I cannot recommend trying this lock.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great, sleek lock!

I bought this lock for our front door a few years ago, and it is still going strong. Batteries last me about 1 year, and the buttons are very nice to press. I get notifications when the door is locked or unlocked, and it's nice to be able to let family members in when on vacation to feed the cats. I would recommend this to lock to anyone looking to add some smart capability to their home! the only gripe I have about it is that sometimes the tamper alarm goes off for no reason and I need to remove the batteries to restart it. This has happened probably 3 times since 2019
I would recommend this to a friend!

A little learning curve at first

But, after I got the hang of it I am happy and super thankful we have it installed as I tend to forget where I place my keys at more times than I’d care to admit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unpacking the Yale Assure Lock 2 Key-Free Push Button, I was pleased to find a multi-head screwdriver included. As I was swapping out a prior dead bolt with the smart lock, the screwdriver was all that was needed for the initial install. I did opt to install an optional sensor in the door jamb later, which required a drill. There is a stick on sensor that can be used, but I opted for the sleeker, hidden sensor look. Installation was a breeze, the instructions were intuitive and included hardware was well packaged and labeled. The software updates after installation took longer than installing the lock itself. Operation is smooth and trouble free as you would expect from a brank like Yale. The lock has a sleek, well designed look both indoors and out. The buttons have a great feel. I obtained the Bluetooth lock, and the features are amazing. The smart lock features which sense if the door is open, and locked or unlocked and will automatically lock the door works flawlessly! Never have to worry about if we remembered to lock the door on the way out again! I plan on purchasing the Wi-Fi module in the future to allow for enhanced code sharing, which will come in handy on those occasions where a house or puppers check in is needed by friends/relatives. The random passcode share would be even more useful if you utilize a cleaning crew or pet service and have a need for short term codes. I’ve been very pleased with the lock for the first several weeks of use, and highly recommend the Yale Assure Lock 2.
