I already use two other models of HP deskjet printers but not at all happy with the third printer 8135e that i bought. first the setup went into a loop during the update of the printer. it would not install. finally figured a way to stop the installation of the updated software. wasted almost 2 to 3 hours of my time just for this. next the power cable does not fit into the power port of the printer. it is very loose. if you move the printer slightly, it falls off from the port. i would have returned it, had i known about the power port loosening earlier. basically it did not go through a proper QC and the software release update was again not tested.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
