Cord too short

Sound quality is great. However, charging cord is about 10 inches long and micro USB is different than my other JBL speaker. I need a longer cord!

Thank you for providing feedback for our JBL Clip 4. Please note that you can use any kind of Type C USB cable to charge the speaker. This cable is common among android chargers.

I was given the Clip4 as a present. I was a little disappointed when I realized it doesn't support speaker phone functionality nor does it have the ability to control source media like any other BT speaker I have purchased. This would be fine for someone that only wants to listen to music but misses the functionality most digitally informed users are looking for such as knowing how much battery life is left. On the plus side I am already aquatinted with support because it stopped working after my initial testing.

Not worth it

I bought 2 of these thinking I can pair them together when riding our pit bikes. Apparently you cannot. I haven’t even used but three boxes put so I can’t return. Disappointed

Less features

I bought a jbl clip 3, been using it for years, but the battery is sadly no longer holding a charge or charging. So when i came looking for a new one, i figure upgrading to the jbl clip 4 wasnt a bad idea, same price i paid for the old one. And then as i was trying it out, i come to find they removed features the previous model had. No more phone calls, just audio. No long displays battery life percentage in bluetooth menu. Their "waterproof" is now like phones, no flap to cover the port, just cant charge it until the port dries out. The only apprehension i had about buying it, based on reviews and design was the sensitive buttons. But thats the one thing i haven't had happened. Companies need to stop making new models with less features than the old models. Might as well be selling a downgrade.

Great little speaker

I absolutely love the speaker. I was in love with my go 3 but wanted something lighter as I stock shelves at night for work. I gave this 4 stars only because I hate where the power button is located. Directly on the back side. Quite a few times while working it has hit my side and shut the speaker off. Never happened with the go 3 because the power button is on top. If that power button was in a better location this speaker would be completely perfect for me. Button location may not be an issue for anyone else.

Compare clip 3 & clip 4

I already Owned the clip 3 but was getting old and, carabiner clip busted so hard to use at work. Purchased the 4 because loved my 3 !
The differences I’ve have noticed the is the carabiner clip is half plastic don’t care for that Due to the longevity of my prior clip and sound quality and loudness seems better in the clip 3.
Visually the 4 knocked it out the park the I chose the camo with orange and it looks great
