[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this nice cast iron nori grill pan and I can’t wait to grab me some steaks and grill them! I do have a similar one I use and I love it so I know I will love this one. You can use this on stove tops any grill and on a fire. Has a nice enamel coating to keep it from sticking. Looks like I will be having steak this weekend and can’t wait!

Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using my trusted cast iron for 30 years and it's developed a beautiful seasoning. But when I came across an enameled cast iron version, similar to Le Crueset, I wanted to see if it would yield the same results. The pan itself is very well made with substantial heft you'd expect from cast iron.
I followed the instructions - washed before using, set the burner on medium-high to get it hot for about 5 minutes - then used a light spray of avocado oil and set a thin cut of skirt steak on, cooking it 2 minutes on each side. As you can see from photos, there was minimal browning or searing. The steak seemed to be steaming which has never happened on my regular cast iron or pan searing. It made it gray and chewy. I don't know what went wrong?
The clean up was pretty effortless. Once the pan cooled a little, I pre-soaked in water and washed by hand with a scrubber sponge.

Non Stick Iron Pan/ Skillet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Alva Nori Grill Pan came in a decent size that is perfect for steaks, vegetables etc… I tried the pan with thin sliced NY strips as it cooks faster and less messy when cooking indoors. The pan get got all over which I liked as the heat is distributed making life easier. i also like the fact that it had deep groves that leave grill marks on the meat!
Unlike traditional iron pans/ skillets the Nori pan come with a coating which made it more non stick, much easier to clean!
