Purchased in May. Used in medium size bedroom. No issues so far. Keeps room comfortable and used settings to automatically turn off. Also very convenient to have remote to used when accessing air conditioner.

Exhaust Tube

Just installed so I can't really speak to how well it cools long term, but the exhaust tube does not attach to the window kit. I was able to attach it using reflectix tape. But it's a very poor design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall it's pretty solid

Kind of a pain to get the vent connected, and the window unit is not wide enough for my window, but otherwise it works as intended. Would be ideal if the cord was a bit longer. We have an old house with outlets only on two walls in each room, so it makes finding a spot for it tough. I'm hopeful it'll cool my upstairs, but we shall see. Just set it up about an hour ago.
