Efficient, quiet, and ice cold

I purchased this AC unit to cool my apartment during the short period of warm weather during summer here in the PNW. Its exactly what I needed to help me avoid any potential discomfort during the summer season, especially at night when I'm trying to stay cool while asleep. Highly recommend!

Defective design- doesn't drain

Installed one of these to heat an unoccupied structure. Setup with a short garden hose to drain from the upper drain port into an external condensate pump. Worked great for a week or two, but now it says the internal tank is full. The unit was placed on a level surface, so there is no reason why this should happen.
I was okay with it when the heat operated without intervention, but the smart device compatibility is deceptively misleading. Requiring an app and registration to orchestrate a wifi paired integration setup is terrible in 2025. Product literature made it seem like the device would get picked up by Alexa without the hassle of another app with functionality made redundant by the goal smart integration.

Great design

Nice slim unit. Not cumbersome. We love the rollers and side handles.
Easy to install and operate.The heat mode (heat pump) works down do 15 to 20 degrees.
It's great, hear in Ohio! Would buy again.
The only upgrade I would recommend, would be a thicker plastic window piece that the hose attaches to.
Lastly, the 4 year warranty I purchased was quite reasonably priced. Good job!
