Extra sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a pair of must have scissors. They are sturdy and durable without the added weight. I’ve cut through cardboard, hard plastic, cloth, and rubber with ease. They are very sharp so you must be careful using them.

Great Scissors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The scissors are great. I like that they are easy to hold, not heavy. Fingers don't' get stuck. Very straight cut through paper without tearing. Used them to cut construction paper for my students and they were easy to handle.

Lightweight scissors are tuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice lightweight scissor. Comfortable on the fingers . Very sharp right out of the package. The weight is very light for it's general use. Rivet at hindge might get loose with heavy use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thw Westcott 8" All Purpose scissors are the perfect size and fit for your hands. I have been using them for cutting papers to give each student a third of a whole sheet. They work great for big or small jobs.

I do a lot of laminating and I save these scissors especially for this. Other scissors do not give a clean cut and then the laminate peels. Oh how I hate that. These make a beautiful sharp clean cut so my laminated materials stay looking great

I believe that this is one of their more budget orientated products I've purchased several other Westcott scissor before and I have several that are older than 10 years old still going strong. These are not constructed the same way. I will say that they are sharp enough for most household tasks. They are also cheap enough to have several one hand when they do start to dull.
