Thought I was ordering a 4 inch filter but was actually 3 1/2 . The Honeywell filter it replaced was a full 4 inches so I guess you get what you pay for.

I find the house stays less dusty with these filtersand I know the furnace is being protected from anything that would harm it bc the filters catch it first.

Although I ordered the same filter as my existing filter, a 20x20x5 Merv 11, the filter I received, although labeled the same, had "actual" dimensions larger than the existing filter and would not fit without removing some sheet metal in the furnace filter compartment. A two-minute filter change turned into a 30-minute project.
