The filter was 1/2 inch

The filter was 1/2 inch too high. Just went with your replacement statement for trane my fault should have gotten measurements but it still was too difficult to insert. Hope I can get it out again

The filters didn't fit properly in my air handler. My fault for not reading the details for actual measurements. I assumed a filter advertised as 16x25x4 would actually be 16x25x4.

i needed an exact linear size and these filters did not come close enough for me to keep.had i not taped the edges to cover the unfiltered gaps the smaller filter would have been sucked into the blower fan extremely damaging my furnace. i asked for a refund and they gave me one w/o further question....which i really appreciated.
