Haven't used it yet so I can't comment on protection and dust. It appears to be well constructed. The price is bit high but I thought I would give it try on performance. I usually replace every 60 days so I'll see itf it holds up

Not what I expected at

Not what I expected at all. Skinny. Ordered 4 filters.The ones advertised as 4 are closer to3 and Merv 11 vs 12 - not as good as filtrete filters being replaced. Most homeowners would think these aremedium(better) filter on a good, better, best quality. Felt like we got taken on this one.

Filters still a little small for my intake, but, I adjusted the intake to make the filter fit better and it works.
