What a difference a filter makes!

For years, I thought, "Find the best price on the filters for your furnace and go with that. " Today, I have a much different outlook. You would think that someone who suffered from allergies to pollen and everything outdoors as a child would have a greater understanding of the importance of filters. It wasnt until we purchased our new home with a Trane heat pump that we realized the warranty required that you use certain filters in your heat pump. When we started using them, I noticed my husband and I were not sneezing or coughing as much as before.At that moment, I realized the difference a filter can make. We often think were saving money by using lower-priced filters when, in fact, were costing ourselves more money by causing the furnace or heat pump to break down quicker by using inferior filters. When the filters are not changed regularly, they make your furnace work harder, not to mention the particulars that the filters dont pick up that go into the furnace/heat pump. What doesnt blow into your home stays in the vents. It gathers on the motor and various parts and will eventually cause it to break down earlier than it would if we used the best filters we can afford.We live in a deeply wooded area, and we change our filters monthly in the spring and fall due to the amount of dust and pollen. We love the filters we get from FILTERBUY. They come directly to our home. What could be easier than that?

I bought the right size but it did not fit snuggly in my Honeywell air filter. I will go back to the Honeywell brand.
