Disappointed & frustrated

I bought this model HT24B05 hedge trimmer 1 year +/- ago. I used it twice in Jan/Feb of 2025; & used it twice in Dec of 2025. Absolutely loved its 'light weight' 'convenience' & 'strength' & was showing it off to neighbors.....Now, it suddenly stopped working, at just 1 year old. The Battery & Charger both say 'fully charged' & 'charged', but the hedge trimmer switch only makes a 'clicking sound', yet blades won't operate. Very disappointed.... Frustrated, and now trying to decide whether to continue with Greenworks, or cut losses and switch brands.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Powerful
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My inventory of green works tools continues to grow and I am completely satisfied with each purchase. This product was purchased to make my work easier as I tend to hedges in my yard. Having a cordless option makes the work so much easier.
A major plus is that I got to purchase a product that runs on batteries that I already had for my vacuum stick (which I love as well). This made purchase price a really good one (I wish all my green works tools worked on same batteries as I have different batteries for leaf blower, vacuum, saw, etc. but still love those tools
Living on west coast of Florida these tools have been used heavily after hurricanes and they continue to function well
I would recommend this to a friend!
