Stop working after the third time making bread

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t like that this mixer didn’t come with stainless steel attachments, so I bought the three piece stainless steel attachment set separately. I made a chocolate cake using the attachment with the built in scraper. As I was pouring the batter into the cake pans I noticed that in the bottom of the bowl, the batter was not well mixed. So when I went to make the frosting for the cake, using the whisk attachment, I lowered the attachment head by turning the adjustment screw one turn. I made the frosting and checked the bottom of the bowl and it still wasn’t mixed well, so I lowered it another turn of the screw and mixed some more. I had to do this several times. Then the mixer started working too hard, making a thumping sound, which told me that it was too low. But that was the only way I could get it to mix the frosting in the bottom of the bowl. It also did not reach out all the way on the sides of the bowl. I spent so much time adjusting the attachment, scraping down the bowl, and checking to see if it was thoroughly mixed. I’ve never had a mixer that made so much extra work. I’m really disappointed with this mixer and will probably just use my hand mixer next time to get it thoroughly mixed quickly.

A Kitchen Must Have

It is the best investment I have ever made for my kitchen. I have made pizza dough, cinnamon rolls, Whipped up eggs, muffins, cookies, anything you can think of. I recommend it to anyone!!

I do think stainless steel should replace the coated accessories as I purchased those separately. Even an option at initial purchase to upgrade to stainless with a discount would be appreciated!

I should have bought one years ago.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased my first stand mixer last month and sound have done years ago. This makes easy work of my oatmeal cookies in which the recipe burned out the motor on my hand held mixer. Makes simple work of this dough recipe and in much less time than my old hand mixer. Additional time is saved to prep other items as thus mixer is promptly doing its thing without me hand to hold on to a mixer. Clean up is also much quicker that with the old 2 beater hand mixer.

Good But…
