rough start but it’s fine now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my first use wasn’t great. none of the attachments would fit onto the unit properly because there’s a pin that wasn’t pushed in properly. once i got it so one side was flush and the other poked out to hold the attachment in place they (mostly) fit on with no dramas. some were still weirdly tight. also had a weird issue with the motor struggling to mix cake batter and it actually even stopped working but i turned it off and restarted it and haven’t had the issue come back since. not a great first use and i was worried that id have to return it (still am tbh) but hopefully it was just some weird one-off issue.
i don’t find the shield all that helpful, flour still goes shooting out the back unless you put the mixer on the lowest setting when adding flour, in which case you don’t need the shield anyways.
the pebbled palm is beautiful though and having the mixer has inspired me to do more baking! the capacity is perfect for what i use it for and having the two sized bowls is great. i’ve made focaccia, cake with meringue buttercream, cinnamon buns, and some dressings. looking forward to getting some of the other attachments like the pasta rollers!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pebbled Palm color is so classy and looks great in my white/ grey kitchen. But most of all baking is now half the time, especially for baking bread, pizza dough and buns. I’m also loving the attachments. Can’t wait to get my next batch of icecream in!

Perfect and elegant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the kitchenaid for various reasons, one being that I can use different attachments and the other being that I want to rely on good customer service if my appliance needs servicing or repair. In this day and age one has accepted a throw it out mentality if something is broken because cheap things can’t be fixed. This will be different.
I have used the kitchenaid several times now and it has been amazing making pavlova for example.
Easy to clean, intuitive handling. It stands sturdy in the benchtop. Overall I’m very happy with it :).

Not a great introduction to Kitchenaid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased Kitchenaid mixer because I got so many recommendations from family members who have them. I’ve always had kenwood chef mixers and I got rid of my perfectly working kenwood to replace with a trendy Kitchenaid, it is now 2 months old and has been sent back under warranty to be fixed. At this stage I’m not overly impressed with my new purchase, fingers crossed I get it back soon and I will learn to love it. I’m an avid baker and missing not having a mixer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Loving It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this just over a month ago, and am so happy. Have wanted a KitchenAid forever, and it has lived up to my expectations. It is so quite and smooth. Love the handle on the bowl, it made transferring the mixture to the pan so easy (and I wasn't wearing any of it!) Did learn the hard way that the bowl guard doesn't fit on the small bowl!
