The mixer is just ok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've waited for this mixer a long time. I was so excited to get it. I was a little disappointed by the fact that even on the lowest speed it kicks flour out of the bowl and I have the splash guard in place. The bowl, 5 quart, is very narrow compared to my previous mixer. The attachment with the scraper attached doesn't do a good job of scraping down the sides, and because I have to have the splash guard on, it's difficult to make sure everything is well combined. I have to stop mixing, remove the guard, scrape down the sides, replace the guard, and continue mixing. Just too much. It's a beautiful mixer, but it's "just ok" when it comes to mixing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my wife for Valentines Day. She is in culinary school and has been using it consistently since then and it’s been great! I am impressed with how sturdy of a machine it is and she is absolutely in love with the Beetroot color!
