[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my mixer and i gifted one to each of my daughter in laws and they loved them as well until we just recently found out that the beaters contain lead!!! Are you not aware of what lead does to a child’s development?? Do you not care?? I know that you also have safer stainless steel ones that i could purchase, I feel obligated to my myself and my daughter in laws to purchase stainless steel sets of beaters for each of us, as i do have precious grandchildren that I love dearly!! i am absolutely appaled that you would use such a dangerous element!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dear Devonna Renee’, Throughout our 111-year history, Whirlpool Corporation has been committed to providing safe products for our consumers.
The company’s aluminum alloy stand mixer accessories, including beaters, dough hooks and whisks, are tested through a third party, independent laboratory to ensure they comply with all applicable regulations in the locations where they are sold regarding lead content. They are safe for any family’s cooking needs. In addition, all current models of aluminum stand mixer accessories have a food-safe coating over the aluminum that is tested both for lead content and lead migration to ensure that it is safe for all consumers.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 5 qt mixer a few months ago and I'm glad I did! but i do wish the mixing bowl was made a little wider to make it easier to scrap the inside.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my new mixer. I made some amazing things already and now find myself looking for recipes. I suck at domestic stuff but the mixer an the results are giving me confidence.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got myself a gift. I have noticed I get a grinding noise when I try to mix Oats to bake cookies. Any explanation as to why? It’s kinda like it boggles down oh also slows down when trying to mix. Might it be scraping the mixing bowl?? I’m puzzled not to happy with this pricy purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in November and have had so much fun with it over the last two months. I have made all kinds of yummy treats. I love all the attachments and having the two different size bowls.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] still learning how to best utilize its features
NOTE Quality Control: unboxed the mixer and back pivot point of the tilt-head significantly scuffed from the factory, came out of a perfectly packaged box
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not found it to be quicker to use this mixer or efficient. Also, I make larger batches than this mixer can handle and have to mix by hand first to combine all the ingredients and then split into separate batches to use the mixer. At that point, not only do I have the mixer and hooks to clean but also the counter top, bowls and utensils I had to use to mix the recipe before I can add it to the mixer. For me I am going to mix the way I always have, by hand. Hopefully I can return this mixer.
