[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not found it to be quicker to use this mixer or efficient. Also, I make larger batches than this mixer can handle and have to mix by hand first to combine all the ingredients and then split into separate batches to use the mixer. At that point, not only do I have the mixer and hooks to clean but also the counter top, bowls and utensils I had to use to mix the recipe before I can add it to the mixer. For me I am going to mix the way I always have, by hand. Hopefully I can return this mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately I never even received my mixer. The first order never showed so a representative placed a second order, that also never showed. Tracking said both of the mixers never were picked up. I am so bummed and so frustrated with what happened because I really wanted what I had purchased.
If you live at an overseas military base, strongly encourage you not to order as I’ve run into MANY people locally this also has happened to.

Contains lead????!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my mixer and i gifted one to each of my daughter in laws and they loved them as well until we just recently found out that the beaters contain lead!!! Are you not aware of what lead does to a child’s development?? Do you not care?? I know that you also have safer stainless steel ones that i could purchase, I feel obligated to my myself and my daughter in laws to purchase stainless steel sets of beaters for each of us, as i do have precious grandchildren that I love dearly!! i am absolutely appaled that you would use such a dangerous element!!

Doesn’t compare to my original Kitchenaid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m comparing this newest Kitchenaid to my Kitchenaid that I’ve had for the last 30 years. It’s not the same. The wire whip is aluminum instead of stainless steel. The motor doesn’t have the same quality sound as my original, doesn’t have the nice smooth hum, it’s whiny. Not sure how well it will hold up, time will tell. I still have my old one, just wanted a mixer with color.

Won’t buy another one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 mixers all were gifts 2 of which are kitchenaid, I don’t like either of them. Their terrible design infuriates me. It bogs down when there’s anything slightly stiff to mix. You have to lock it to keep it from bouncing. The beater falls off easy if you’re just trying to scrape the batter off with a spatula. It doesn’t lock in place when it’s up so it falls on you when your cleaning batter off the beater. I have another brand that locks in place automatically when it’s up or down. It’s much more convenient and user friendly.
