Love this mixer!!

First of all this is hefty at 26 lbs. so I know as it’s mixing it’s not going to be moving around on my counter and has a 4 inch long power cord. There is a tilt-head which means I can lift the mixer head to check the bowl without having to pull the bowl out first. 10 speeds for whatever you need; kneading, mixing and whipping. Cleanup is nice and easy and it’s powerful but yet is on the quiet side. Let’s talk attachments! This one is the premium accessory pack so it has all these great attachments and things. One 5 Quart and one 3 Quart stainless steel bowl with a handle; one flex edge beater; one coated silver dough hook; one 6 wire whip, one pouring shield for the bowl, so flour and other items don’t go flying all over the place; and my favorite - one pastry beater. Now this works along with the bowl to break up the butter into smaller pieces so think how great this works butter into flour for biscuits. No more crumbling butter with your fingers. But it’s not just for that you can even use this to shred meats, so much better than using two forks. The bowls are dishwasher safe so again, easy clean up. There are around 10 optional attachments that are powered by the hub on the top front of the mixer. Things like pasta makers, meat grinders, noodle makers, ice cream churner, veggie strainer, sausage stuffer and more. I had no idea a stand mixer could do more than mix, whip and beat things. And I am really liking the new beetroot color. You know how beets have that nice rich, red “beety” color? This has that. I definitely recommend this mixer no matter your expertise level on baking/cooking because this has so many uses for so many recipes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WOW, I’m enjoying the color, design, features and performance of my new KitchenAid® Artisan® Series Tilt-Head Stand Mixer for preparing my favorite meals, desserts and snacks. What’s included with my mixer package was (1) 5 Quart Stainless Steel Bowl with Comfortable Handle, (1) 3 Quart Stainless Steel Bowl, (1) Flex Edge Beater, (1) Pastry Beater, (1) Coated Subtle Silver Dough Hook, (1) 6 Wire Whip, (1) Pouring Shield. The 10+ variety of versatile attachments for fresh pasta, burgers, veggie noodles, ice cream, and much more can be purchased separately. I can add my ingredients into the bowls without splattering everywhere while it’s still mixing. The bowls give me the options to prepare small or large batches of food items and/or mix separate recipes. Please note that the bowls are dishwasher safe. The pastry beater can break up butter in small pieces, shred meats, mash fruits and veggies.

The new Beetroot color is stunning, one of the best colors to come out. You can go wrong with KitchenAid products and the stand mixers are great. Lots of attachment options available.

Locking mechanism does not work

I’ve had this for less than 2 weeks and the locking mechanism doesn’t work. Luckily my wife was right next to it went it went whack otherwise if could have fallen on floor and damaged flooring or hurt a child. For such an expensive product, you would think the locking mechanism would not break after a couple of uses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the KitchenAid Artesian Tilt Head Stand Mixer a couple of weeks ago and I have already used it several times now. I love this Mixer it's a little bit high priced but it is worth it.
This is a restaurant quality Mixer that will not only last a lifetime, but it will also add style and elegance to your kitchen.

This mixer is the boss! I have waited over 34 years to try one of these, and now, my dreams are coming true.
I love the beautiful color, the sturdiness and the reliability of the Kitchen Aide name. I am loving the easy and high quality, the versatility of this machine, including the pasta attachment. I’m so very thankful and blessed beyond words. I will take great care and use it for as many great projects as I can. It will one day be passed onto my granddaughter, for that I am very sure of.
