Great stand mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a Kitchenaid stand mixer for a long time and finally bought one plus the pasta attachment. I am so happy I did. The first thing my daughter and I made was pasta and it’s was so easy. Then I made some excellent cookies.

How did we live without this?

We have used this now to bake coffee cakes and cookies. My in-laws are raving and asking for more. I seriously do not know why I waited so long to get one. Best present ever!

Seems a bit under-powered

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a little disappointed with the performance. The unit seems to be under-powered. I made a 1/2 batch of chocolate chip cookies by the Toll House recipe and the mixing head kept jumping up and down until the lock switch disengaged. I had a similar experience making a loaf of medium sized french bread. The motor sounded like it was struggling and the mixing head jumped up and down until the lock switch disengaged. I made a 1/2 batch of Quaker Oat recipe oatmeal cookies today and the mixing mostly went well.
A few years ago I bought my Mom a 7 Qt. Bowl Lift mixer and it is an unstoppable beast. I just wanted something smaller for me but with similar performance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It has improved my baking already.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced my other brand mixer and thought to try KitchenAid. Very impressed with the quality of the product. My baking is so much easier then before and the handling of the dough is so much easier. My new small bowl that came with it is awesome, comes in handy when I need to chill my cookie dough and fits in the frig without taking up so much space. Looking to buy the scale attachment in the future.

My older mixer still works fine I just wanted something that could do double batches of cookie. This mixer is awesome!! I can make double batches with no problem. In fact I am so happy with kitchen aid products I bought the dishwasher. I plan on replacing all my kitchen appliances with kitchen aid over time. Quality products I love KitchenAid

Great for cooking

I’m so happy I finally purchased a kitchen aid mixer for the first time. I don’t know why but they just look awesome. Baked my first banana bread today and the mixer did excellent and even the bread was yummy. Gonna shred chicken for dinner. Grated cheese with the attachment and that was super fast and helpful.
