It made the task easy. We should have bought this mixer years ago. Looking forward to many years of enjoying this mixer when baking and other entertaining treats! Now, we will have to look into accessories to make other tasks a breeze. Selected Canday Apple Red, it is a beautiful color!

Powerful yet beautiful. Made to LAST!

I bought a mini to replace my longtime tilt head I gave to my daughter but it wasn't powerful enough to stand up to my needs. So I called kitchenaid and the rep was very nice and friendly and swapped it for this candy apple red 5 quart with lots of extras. I love it and while the attachment has proved to be a challenge getting them off and on compared to the old one I still love it. The attachments had some burs inside them but a little sand paper cleaned them right up and so far no issues. I have read they are aluminum and contract with the heat and cold unlike the older ones. the only thing different i noticed was this new one doesn't have the stir on it before the speeds start and i would advise covering the bowl when using flour in it. It is very powerful and gets the job done without hesitation. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think my wife is very pleased with her Christmas present but with the exception of the cheap attachments that are painted aluminum and with what she read is possibly some lead content in the alloy. She is thinking it over before using it and we are keeping the packaging for possible return.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My review of Artisan series tilt head stand mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive my new mixer and went to use it for the first time. To my dismay the head would not lock down and my mixer kept lifting as I was preparing cookie dough. I called the customer service an was informed that they would sent out a new mixer. It took longer than I expected for the new mixer to arrive as the original one arrived quickly. The new mixer is functioning properly at this time.
