Great stand mixer and accessory pack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stand mixer is excellent. The included Flex Edge Beater is great at mixing all ingredients together and scraping the sides of the bowl. The pastry beater is great at breaking down butter. The dough hook works well. I like the wire whisk, but if I could add a suggestion for improvement, I would request that KitchenAid try to make a version of the wire whisk that is dishwasher-safe like all the other components. I love the extra mixing bowl (the 3-quart bowl). As a suggestion for improvement, it would be great if the pouring shield could fit both the 5-quart and the 3-quart bowls. The pouring shield won't fit the 3-quart bowl because it is too low and the beater attachments will hit the shield while spinning. Overall though, this was an excellent purchase, and the premium accessory pack adds great value!

Life is good

Finally - but it works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered from KitchenAid because so many people at one major online retailer complained about getting a used mixer though their order was for a new one. There were some problems getting the order fulfilled but it finally arrived and was brand new in the box. The accessories I ordered were never shipped and I had to order those from that large online retailer at a higher price so I lost money. But the mixer works well and I use it weekly or more for making bread or other baking. It was quite a struggle dealing iwth KitchenAid to get it ordered but, in the end, it worked out well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great mixer but noisy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I owned a Kitchenaid mixer that I purchased in 1990 which was ready for replacement. I purchased the Artisan Series Tilt-Head Stand Mixer to replace it and have been very happy with it. I do find it to be much noisier than the old mixer. Hoping that this is just the "break-in period. Happy with all the accessories, they give me everything I need.
