[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been exposed to Kitchenaid. My grandmother and mother had a stand mixer. My wife and I purchased the Artisan deluxe package for our anniversary. Now we understand why it is a must have kitchen appliance. My wife loves it. I have also used it (first time ever for me). This is quality beyond any other mixer. We use it for everything, mashed potatoes, cakes, muffins, scrambled eggs and many other dishes. We purchased several of the accessory attachments. Pasta maker, food processor and several items. The family tradition carries on. Our son and his wife bought the Artisan also after using ours. 5 stars is not enough to describe hoe great it has been. Thank you Kithenaid!

Just needs a few improvements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The head bounces with only a small batch (about 1-2qt) of cookie dough in the 5qt bowl. The motor of the KitchenAid sounds like it is trying a bit too hard when it is on- even with nothing in the bowl to cause resistance.

Years of use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first mixer just turned 50yo. It was still working well and was handed down to my sister. We treated ourselves to a deep red version. We love it. Made 200 pierogies using the dough hook and pasta roller.

The Kitchenaid mixer is a workhorse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Kitchenaid mixers for 40 years. My first is still being used by a relative. It is 40 years old. My new Kitchenaid is great! I used it for 10 batches of Christmas cookies and a cake. I also have attachments with which I made several pounds of pasta dough, chopped nuts and grated different foods.
