Best Birthday Present!

I purchased this beautiful mixer for my birthday when my OLD one (after 20yrs) decided to bite the dust. I have to say…it was the BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER!!! I love it and wouldn’t use anything else but KITCHENAID.

We bought this mixer before the holidays and are so glad we did! It made our holiday baking so much easier. I wish we had one years ago. I would recommend this Tilt-Head mixer to anyone :)

This is the 4th mixer I have purchased. One for each house and another for my daughter. Only one mixer wore out after 20+ years. Once criticism is that the pin holding the mixer to the stand will slide out when mixing heavy batter or dough.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Underpowered

The empire red is gorgeous, but I swear this mixer doesn't have the power that our 27 year old mixer still has.

I adore this mixer! I have made all kinds of yummy desserts and dough for pizza, bread and muffins, so much fun and easier on the hands!

Quality control poor

I have my original mixer at least 30 years older. Had to return first one as head would not lock. Was sent out a replacement mixer the return process went well. However replacement mixer locks but mixing dough it bounces and comes unlocked. I tried adjusting and have not used it again to see if it cured the problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Missing Engraving

By Bought as a Christmas gift for my wife. She loves it. The only issue was that I paid for engraving and it was not engraved.

My first KitchenAid I owned for over 13 yrs. The motor went bad. I replaced it with another of the exact same model and after only 5 yrs it quit working. The grinding gear broke. They told me it's cheaper to "just" buy a new one because to repair is so expensive. It's just hard as someone who has a very tight budget. I cook from scratch all our meals as a family of 6. We use EBT. We cannot afford another mixer at this time. I had really thought this one would have lasted as long, but I guess the quality has gone down. I do Love. the mixer when it works.
