Great mixer but noisy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I owned a Kitchenaid mixer that I purchased in 1990 which was ready for replacement. I purchased the Artisan Series Tilt-Head Stand Mixer to replace it and have been very happy with it. I do find it to be much noisier than the old mixer. Hoping that this is just the "break-in period. Happy with all the accessories, they give me everything I need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the same KitchenAid for over 30 years and never had a problem with the "old girl". I saw the Artisan Series Tilt-Head Mixer with the Premium Accessory Pack and knew I just had to have it. I like the larger bowl, in addition to the extra bowl that came with it. I haven't tried the blender attachment yet but plan on doing this soon. My sister has inherited the "old girl" and is thrilled to have it. Mixing chocolate chip cookie dough for her is now a breeze.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this and it was dented just behind the hub on top. I contacted the company and in just a few days received a replacement and label to return the damaged one. I have waited a long time to have a mixer and I am so pleased and excited.

Sweet Mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first stand mixer, previously just used handhelds. Wow, what a difference. The power improvement is massive and, with my hands freed up, getting cookie dough mixed was so much quicker. Ten dozen Valentines Day cookies took no time at all (well, the decorating did, but that’s a separate issue ;-). The blending of ingredients looks, to my eye, to be perfect. Very consistent throughout. I’ll be making St Patrick’s Day cookies in a week or so. Can’t wait to use my KA mixer again.
