[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd been thinking about upgrading my old mixer for a couple of years. What prompted me to buy a new stand mixer was my Grandson's impending 21st birthday and his cake which I had been asked to make. The way that the Kitchenaid stand mixer handled all aspects including the cake mix, filling and frosting was impressive. So happy I made the purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A beautiful statement for the kitchen bench but mostly a relief for cutting down prep time and making the process smoother

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my mixer 6 weeks ago and in the first 48 hours it stopped functioning. I took it back to where i bought it from and they replaced it on the spot!!
then the second time i used the new one it wouldnt turn off. I have to keep moving the on switch across all mixing levels and back 3 times before it would stay off. And this happens now intermittently :( Also the motor on the new one feels very unstable in the unit and when mixing on 8 it wobbles. Im really wondering what the hype is about these machines that makes them so popular! bad experience twice for me :(
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
