My First KitchenAid Mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WHAT A DEAL!! I got this for Mother’s Day after never trying one before for my 25 years of baking and cooking. I LOVE it!! The color and attachments are great quality and is just such a gorgeous staple in my kitchen now. The versatility to use the mixer for everything I prepare is so fun. I am so impressed with the capabilities and options. I have several attachments I highly recommend; the ice shaver(perfect for a recent tonsillectomy patient) ice cream bowl, and bread bowl (my family could not believe how yummy it was). I have loved my new kitchen aid mixer so much I got one for my parents as well. Customer service has gone above and beyond with help and sending missing parts. KitchenAid products and company represent quality products and exceptional customer service.

Beautiful, Efficient & Great Stand Mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently bought an Artisan Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer with the Premium Accessory Pack. I am so glad I did! It more than meets my needs and I will enjoy using it more and more. (My previous mixer (another brand) died after 40 years).

Quality has been poor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first one I received in the mail wouldn’t stay in the “off” position and the replacement doesn’t lock so I cannot make cookie dough. What’s the point of a mixer if it can’t do the heavy lifting parts for you? Very disappointed. To get a replacement you have to call and do it over the phone - no emailing - which is very inconvenient for those whose schedules do not align with KitchenAid’s.

Needs work out of the box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mixer head wobbles and shakes and the attachments do not stay still on the rod of the mixer head. I have spent a lot of time adjusting and working the machine to get it mixing correctly.

Terrible mixer

I had a Professional Kitchenaid stand mixer for years and loved how sturdy it was for all my baking needs. Since I’m not baking as much and have less strength, I decided to sell the one I had and buy the smaller, tilt head Kitchaid mixer. What a disappointment. It’s not made nearly as well, the attachments come loose if using higher speeds, dry ingredients fly out all over the place even when using the pouring shield, and it just feels cheap, even though it’s still heavy. I should have never sold my professional one for this lousy thing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This appliance was expensive. It has a short black cord. Kinda wished it was white. It comes with several attachments. I loved that I found this color. I got a used designer bowl online made by KitchenAid. Looks really good with it.
