I’ve had various kitchenaid mixers for 39 years & so was confident that the last one which was flimsy (the piece holding the top to the stand kept coming out with use and when unattended it would wiggle itself off the counter and in the fall damage itself) was an aberration. Not so. I bought a higher end model and it is definitely not the quality of two mixers ago. (Yes, I measure time in the kitchen by mixers:)) I wish I had one of the sturdy workhorse mixers of decades past, but I traded up for pretty colors.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this last year for my wife for Christmas and she has non-stop been baking. I think I’ve put on 20 pounds haha. We use this for so many different dinners as well. Amazing appliance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Artisan Series 5 Quart Tilt head stand mixer is everything I wanted in a stand mixer. They have so many colors it was hard to decide so take your time selecting the right color for your kitchen. Rating it a four because it's kind of loud not sure why but it works great. Overall satisfied with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since we first started to us this mixer the only way that you can use it is to Hold the arm in the down position. The mixer arm bounces up and down and throws batter everywhere. We used to have a lift mixer and did not have this problem, and until it fell apart we used it frequently. Kitchenaid products just are not what the used to be. I have tried to call and email the company but never seem to get a response.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
