I don't belong in the kitchen but LOVE IT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mixer for my wife, a trained chef, as an anniversary gift and I must say, this mixer may be the best purchase I've ever made for ME to use in the kitchen, and I am NOT a blessed with any semblance of cooking skills. Using and cleaning the mixer is a breeze and I've even started baking regularly (as opposed to well, never) just because the once arduous task of combining ingredients haphazardly has been made easy and fun. Sidenote, my wife loves it too, but she knows how to cook so her opinion is useless. Also, the "salt blue" colour in person is gorgeous, it shimmers like a pearl and looks purple from certain angles. If you were hesitant because of the colour, buy it. Trust me, you're going to love it!

Bought from the money we got for our wedding, used the free engraving service with out first names and wedding date and picked this years colour. So a perfect combination. Works like a charm, now trying to decide on which add ons to get!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this as my first stand mixer recently, could not be happier with it. Small enough to fit nicely in the cupboard or on the bench, however big enough that it doesn’t compromise batch size. Love love love.

It made the most perfect Swiss meringue buttercream. Looking forward to using it more to make pizza dough, bread and other delicious recipes! Also loving our new kitchen bench accessory!

What is great is that all the accessories I bought years ago such as the meat grinder and ice-cream churned work with it. It is just as robust and stylish looking, and has a pride of place in my kitchen. Love it to bits!

Great Colour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been waiting to get another mixer for the perfect colour and BAM! 2024 Colour of the year is it.
Was not overly happy that the mixer came out of the box and the speeds weren’t set correctly. This I imagine would be concerning for people new to KA for me it was simply annoying that I had to set it myself so that the flour would stop shooting out of the bowl when I switched it to 1

It's a beauftiful colour (which helped sway my decision) but I bought it based on the years of reviews from friends and the helpful first timer recipes offered by Kitchenaid. So far I've only used it to make a tiramisu, but have saved some recipes for cookies and also to shred chicken for upcoming meals. The attachments all seem easy to use.
