Not only can you mix various items for baking/cooking - I want to point out the MULTITUDE of attachments you can purchase with this mixer. You can make pasta (tube, straight, and stuffed), grind meat, strain vegetables and fruits for purées or jams/jelly/preserves, you can get an ice cream maker attachment, and so on. This machine will last you your entire life and can be passed on for generations. I’m so excited to be able to pass this beautiful limited edition color on to my children and eventually my grandchildren, and hopefully my great grandchildren. What a wonderful gift!

Form Follows Function

Of course the mechanical functioning is perfection with ease of operation. The statement "form follows function" fits this appliance. It appears that every feature or design elements is purposeful and makes for a seamless use of the appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting a Kitchen Aid stand mixer for decades and just never bought one for myself. I'm an avid baker and have always used a hand held mixer (Kitchen Aid of course). The stand mixer is a game changer! I love the 10 speed option, hands free and all the different mixing attachments! Ive already made 3 batches of cookies and 2 loaves of sour dough bread in one week. The 2024 color of the year is so beautiful and unique!

The best kitchen appliance!

A must have in any kitchen. I have two of these mixers and it spares me from stirring and stirring many of my recipes. In fact, I have two of them, which comes in handy especially at the holidays. I highly recommend this product.

Got this mixer for Christmas and was so excited! Unfortunately I must have got a defective one. Mixes unevenly despite making correct adjustments for the dime test. Knocks on one side while missing the other side or barely even touches one side. Thought maybe it was just the bowl so switched to the other bowl in the bundle. Got the same results. Tried making a few things to see if it even made a difference in the mixing of ingredients and yes. My cheesecakes come out clumpy due to uneven mixing. Hopefully they're able to replace this defective one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great mixer, happy with purchase

Loving this mixer so far. The only down side is it is very heavy. I ended up putting it in slider mat which helped a lot.
