I have had this laptop for 3 days now and wow. The capability is everything I’ve wanted. It’s quiet, stays very cool, runs smoothly, runs games SMOOTHLY, and has great battery life of light loads. I love it!!! I’m so happy Asus worked with ROG. They made a great laptop. I definitely recommend this one to anyone seeking a new gaming laptop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love my new laptop, it runs very well so far, great start up time. Screen is a touch difficult to get to the right brightness lvl, but I’ll figure it out eventually. The power supply does feel like it gets a touch warm but I looked up acceptable temperatures and it says that’s fine. It’s a bit on the heavy side to tote around like a Chromebook, but it’s for at home only really so no big deal. The one thing that’s annoying is how it plugs into the computer for the power supply. It’s a straight stiff hard plug on the side, so caution needs to be taken if it’s actually on your lap so you don’t bend or put pressure on that and damage the plug connection. In fact that’s the one reason I can see the computer breaking to early is the inability to charge anymore. Other then that one thing it’s pretty great. Responds quickly, refreshes quickly, runs smooth, graphics quality is decent. Would I recommend to a friend yes but I would also make them aware of the plug. That’s the only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because that plug connector will end up being a problem.

So far it's fantastic. If I didn't know better I'd swear the screen was OLED, it looks that good, vibrant and bright. Performance so far is excellent. It's big and heavy, basically a portable desktop, but that's exactly what I wanted.

I've never owned an Asus. This one is great. Large screen, a must for gaming, not super heavy, and has good speakers. I'm enjoying it. I keep a writing machine for school and the Asus for gaming so it's easier.
Thanks for making a big laptop with a descent size screen.

This gaming laptop is all the tech you need. I am extremely happy with this laptop. I play World of Tanks, Eve Online, and Elder Scrolls Online on max settings. ESO specifically come to life with vibrant colors. After buying this laptop, I find myself playing ESO the most to enjoy the eye popping colors in the beautiful digital out doors. It is like going on a vacation.
