This is a great fryer,,so easy to take apart to clean and everything just conveniently stores inside the basket. This is to me the Cadillac of fryers,,love the charcoal filters in the lid nice touch.

Heating element

Works great but the slider broke on the removable control unit with heating element. So now it does not fit securely on the back of the fryer.

It’s such a good product, but I think we had an odd occurrence happen. :/

Fantastic!! However, we used it about 2 weeks ago. We cleared all oil/grease and cleaned it after frying some fish. Never drop, hit, or any sort of damage. It was stored in a clean space and in clean condition along with our other appliances. It doesn’t seem to power on what so ever, and it sucks because it’s been so reliable without any issues.. we’ve tested all outlets, and saw no fraying, exposed, or cut wires. No damage at all. We got it for our wedding from our registry, and hope to figure out what’s going on. We’ve loved every single one of our Chefman products, but this seems to be a rare situation

Drain Basket broken in less than a year

I bought this deep fryer 8 months ago to replace a foreign brand that just suddenly stopped working. Now the drain basket is broken.

Very helpful with a large family

I love it. My only complaint is that the handle to the lid melted off on its own. Horrible and I just got it.

This is my 2nd chefman deep fryer. The first one still worked but the basket handle area broke. It's so nice having and using 1. I made sure that this 1 was exactly like my older one, except for the broken basket.
