Unfortunately my first one quit working after a year and 10 months.

Easy to use but the control portion is hard to keep clean due to the porous nature of the material. I would prefer a something that would clean easier. Also if any oil is dropped it runs down the inside of the stainless holder clings to the sides then drips all over my cabinets later. At least if it was outside I could clean it up as it happens without waiting for everything to cool and forgetting it later

We like to deep fryer. It's a lot of work to clean after each use. Heats the oil quickly and cooks evenly. We use it often. The basket is weak where the handle connects.
