Bigger and better!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Maven Lane Alexander backless counter stool is so much more than I thought it would be. If you've purchased this beautiful barstool without seeing it in person, plan to be pleasantly surprised. Not only is it bigger than you'd imagine, it's also super comfortable! The seat swivels 360° which makes it easier to use. It's very well made and sturdy. It is a bit of a bear putting it together because this is real, grown-up furniture. It's also very heavy.
Since it is so heavy I wouldn't purchase this as extra seating you can move around in case of company. On the downside, I don't care for the material used on the seating. It doesn't feel as grand or as expensive as the rest of the stool. It feels like rubber. I don't see this holding up well if you have children. If you don't I think you'll be alright, just be careful of punctures.
Overall this is an attractive, well made piece of furniture which is adding charm and class to my home.
