Great look...not a lot of heat

The fireplace looks great. The features allow for many options. The heat is not very effective. The heat only comes out from the small middle section of the vent. If it came out of the entire vent it would distribute heat better. I live in a southern state so my winter season is much shorter however it is disappointing that the fireplace does not heat my family room. The description states heating of a 400' room.

This was easy to install as common DIYers. Love all the features and well worth the upgrade from the base model! Excited for use with years to come. This is an accent to our living space in the south (warmer winters)

Great at First; No Longevity

Has I done this review in 03/2023 I would have been very satisfied s as the unit did everything I needed it to. Spring ahead to 08/2024 and for reasons yet to be known (11/2023) the unit has not been able to be powered on. If this product gives the customer only 18 months of function then the consumer needs to find another product. We only ever used the lighting functions as we live in Florida, so the heat was never needed. It’s hard to invest in another Touchstone unit after this experience to replace the unit that is nothing more then an eye sore in our built-in wall unit. Other brands may be sought out that can give more then 18 months of functionality. Good luck to those that purchase this unit.
