Just what we were looking for

We purchased this electric fireplace to go into a built in entertainment center under our TV. We recessed it into the wall and it looks great! It is sleek, good quality and the flames and fake logs look more realistic than other options we've seen. (We have not tested out the heat yet.) Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend it.

Stylish but does not heat well.

Fireplace looks anmazing installed. It just doesn’t really heat up according to the specs which is heating up an area up to 400sqft. For as big as it is, definitely does not heat up that much. Maybe 40sqft

We Love Our Fireplace!

We are thrilled with the purchase of our Sideline 50" Electric Fireplace. We received it quicker than expected. The ease of installation is great. Easy and secure installation with screws used to mount from front of the fireplace. The flame is beautiful and quite realistic. The two stage heat option is fabulous. It is not loud, just a low hum. We love the faux logs as well. The fireplace has added the perfect finishing touch to our built-ins. The installer of our built-in said it is the nicest fireplace he has seen. Everyone has commented that they love it as well.

Looks Lovely, Somewhat Noisy

This looks great. I will say that I’m disappointed that it has a hum when it is flame only. I expected it to sound like a space heater when the heat was on, but it’s too noisy for my liking in general. Also bought a Dimplex Sierra to compare—the Dimplex made no noise when the flame alone was on. The Dimplex also had a larger heating element (2 inches longer than the TS) and put out more heat. Ultimately I got outvoted by my husband who liked the size of this one better, but I do wish it was quieter.

This is our second touchstone fire, they look really nice and the heat is very good… we really like you can have the flame effect without the heat.. unlike a log fire … very easy to install happy with our purchase..
