Not warm enough

Hi..we were excited to purchase this fireplace for our basement. It looks great, but doesn’t really warm up the space as we expected (about 600 sq ft)…had to buy a separate space heater to warm up the place.

All of the good reviews on this product and company are real. The shipment was quick. Packing superb. ( can't get away from styrofoam sadly). Had a quick question so I jumped on the phone and spoke to a real person in quick order. Friendly and helpful. Installed mine as an insert which required a 6 inch deep build-out. Works as advertised and I love it. Even setting up the remote was a piece of cake for this gray haired female homeowner. I'm very pleased with both the company and product. Thank you Touchstone !!

The sideline recessed smart electric fireplace is awesome. I did a lot of looking around and reading reviews, then decided on this one. It was a bit more pricey than I was planning on but it doesn't seem like a cheap-o unit either. So that's good! The smart aspect is really cool. We built ours into a TV console unit in our basement. I can turn it on via my phone before going downstairs to a pre heated room. The room is bigger than 400 sp. ft. so the heating aspect is not amazing, but that is because of the size of the room. (And I like sauna level, so I'll never be satisfied)

Disappointed.

The installation was easy. The aesthetics are amazing. I’m not impressed with the heat output. I installed the unit in a 5th wheel RV and we need to run a second space heater to heat a 300 square foot area. For the money I would have I have expected better performance. I would not recommend this product.
