Wow! don't know what to say except thanks. We received our sideline fireplace within 2 days of placing the order. We installed it immediately and it exceeds all expectations. What a wonderful machine. Easy to install and most important is the bright realistic flame and ember bed that can be easily viewed in bright light. The flames are better than our gas fireplace which is difficult to see in bright light. Many thanks, Doug Becker

We resently moved into an older home and have been rehabbing it. The one feature missing was a fireplace so we researched electric fireplaces as an option and came across the Touchstone 80004. WOW were we presently surprised at the quality construction and the fairly realistic flames (looks like a slimline gas prefab fireplace). Installation was fairly easy and it completely transformed our living room. Thanks Touchstone for making such a nice product!

Great purchase, Sideline 50 80004

Purchased the Onyx Sideline 50 80004 for major remodel. Turned our non-working fireplace into a visually nice and modern look. It was too expensive to clear our chimney and make it up to code to use for a real flame fireplace. We could have gone gas, but decided to go with electric instead. We just wanted a sleek modern look and this certainly did that. Also, our livingroom runs warm all the time, one of the warmest rooms in the house, so we never need heat on in that room. Electrical was the best option to have the flames and no heat output. Only dislike is the faux log, doesn't look like the advertisement photos and doesn't look real. We went with the crystals and it really gives it a modern look. Highly recommend and is at a very good price for what you get.

The unit is awesome. right out of the box 10 minutes to install in recessed opening plugged in and fire it up. great realistic fire that my whole family is enjoying every night.

Nicely realistic, would like color variation.

Still have not installed it, but plugged it in and for an electric fireplace, it looks very realistic. I'd love to see more variations in color is my only critique. The only colors are 3 choices - yellow, blue and half of each. It would be nice to have more variables between full yellow and full blue. Looking for that full beautiful yellow with just a touch of blue for contrast/realism. The half of each is too blue. However, I really do like the look of the flame pattern etc and logs. Nice work.
