Instant heat and the flame truly looks real! I built a fireplace surround from floor to ceiling to house it. I covered the surround with stone, and a full size mantel and hearth. Friends think it's a gas fireplace! I'd purchase it again!

Only been installed for a few weeks but the quality seems to be better than most. Warranty is 1 yr compared to some that are only 30 days. Not sure how these compare to high end brands such as Napoleon, etc., but those were at least twice the cost. Visually one of the best I've seen. Overall experience is excellent so far - shipped fast, packaged well, fairly easy to install. Highly recommended.

Love this Firelace

We bought this recessed electric fireplace for our beach condo to warm those winter days. After enjoying it so much there we ordered a second one for a sitting room which needed a fireplace in our home. It fits in any room and adds such an ambience...whether giving off heat or not. It looks real and is fun to have as you only push a button!

Bought two...one is quiet, one is not

I bought a 50 inch and 36 in model fireplace. The 50 inch is very quiet and you can hardly tell the fan is running. the 36 in model is very loud comparatively. Regardless of whether I have the fireplace mounted or sitting on the floor, the fan is loud and it feels like there's a lot of excess vibration. I'm wondering if it could be remedied by simply changing out the fan? I thought maybe it could be a loose screw or something somewhere, so I've tightened all the screws and it still is very loud.

Looks great but glass should be larger.

The glass should be larger so the installation doesn't have to be so tight on the firebox. This made the recessed install very difficult. Overall we are very happy with the look of the fireplace.

We love our new unit!. Great flame effects, though know that they taper off a bit towards the edge. The only feedback is that the 2 screws to remove the front glass are hard to unscrew, and our were a bit stripped from the factory. New screws put in, and we’re all good to go!
