Durable and reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Getting this watch at first made me nervous. I became paranoid trying to cover it with my hand everytime I got into a situation I think it would scratch or bang into something. As a volunteer firefighter, I would always take off my watch before responding to an incedent. But one day as I responded to a call, I forgot to take it off. A house caught fire and our crew went in to save a few animals. We had to shove and throw furniture to reach our destination which was on the second floor. We reached the animal room and smashed the window to let the heat escape and eventually the fire was put out. Anyway, we returned to to the fire house and I took my gear off. I noticed my watch on my wrist and freaked out. But as I saw that it was completely intact with no scratches or smoke stains, I became less protective about it. This watch is not only water proof but heat proof. Best purchase ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased just about a year ago, right around the year mark the face went blue, was still under warranty. I submitted for repair but was told warranty had expired cause water had got inside even though seal was not broken.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
