Fantastic looking monitor, but...

this monitor is beautiful and working as well as playing on the computer is a much more enjoyable experience. i have never owned a curved screen monitor and now i will never go back to a standard flat display. the only real negatives i have about this monitor besides freesync being grossly overrated (which is typical on all monitors so that isn't a dig against samsung), but to turn off the monitor isn't as simple as it should be. you should be able to simply press a power button and *poof* it is off. on this monitor you have to press a button on the back of the monitor and toggle to power off to just shut off the screen. a minor annoyance, but still could have had better follow through on the design in that regard. other than that, i love this monitor!
I would recommend this to a friend!

this monitor is terrible. the screen is yellow and the holes in the back are 3" apart and don't fit standard stands. the desk stand is low and you can't take it off once you put it on. i don't know how i'm going to get it in the box but its getting returned. i just bought the 34" double wide monitor and its much whiter and a whole lot better. disappointed in this. stay away.

OMG for the Price

i was a little concern regarding the low price but, after installing the cf396, it has more than met my expectations!
in fact, it went above and beyond of my expectations in clarity, contrast and, brightness towards an additional monitor for my dell 13" 2in1 pc notebook :)
I would recommend this to a friend!

A great monitor

I loved this 27 inch curved monitor. It makes my other monitors looks like something from the 1980's.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Built-in speakers

Cheap, flimsy product

as others have reviewed, the stand is truly awful. in addition to having 0 ability to adjust the height, swivel, rotation or anything regarding the orientation of the monitor in relation to the stand, my problem began even before that. the stand comes in two pieces - the base and the neck. there is a screw that goes into the base and is supposed to screw into the neck in order to connect them, but the stand and neck do not align correctly, and therefore i cannot screw the two pieces together. i have stand base that will not connect to the neck, rendering this whole product useless. the plastic of the stand itself is cheap and flimsy and seems like it barely supports the weight of the monitor. absolutely do not waste your time or money on this monitor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor build quality and zero repairabiltiy

A good product, but not without its issues

Overall this monitor is a fairly good choice. The screen is big and has a much better color accuracy than I was expecting. I wasn't to fond of any features that the monitor provides such as AMD Freesync, Samsung Upscaling, or the anti glare night light setting, but I can see these features being highlights for other users. The monitor has a very slim and clean look with the menu navigator located on the back of the monitor which I really appreciate. The curved aspect of it isn't really noticeable to me, but that may just be because I haven't owned a screen of this size before.
The biggest issue for me were a few pixel problems. The product shipped with a stuck pixel which was quite annoying, so I sent it back for repairs. About a week after the monitor was returned from repairs, a dead pixel has also just shown up and I don't really feel like sending it back again.
Pros: Realistic color, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: pixel problem
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
