Beware if purchasing multiple for dual+ setup

originally, i was pleased with the first monitor, enough that i purchased 2 additional monitors. i planned to use them as a multiple monitor setup only to find out that monitors have 2 different backlighting colors depending on which location manufactured it (china or mexico). i wanted to share this because i have seen online people mentioning there are different colors and samsung replies that it is only the settings of the monitors, which is false. the monitors do have different colors. most likely i will just return all 3 monitors and look for something different all together. i hope this review is helpful when considering to make a multiple purchase for multi monitor setup.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this monitor three months ago and if I wasn’t broke I wouldn’t regret this but it is a hefty price but it’s totally worth in my eyes!!!

So far so good with the newest curved Samsung monitor. I had considered and liked the look of the 591 series, but really wanted one with VESA mount capability, so I was glad to see the 398 series announced with VESA mounting. Seemed like great specs for the $$$ and so far I haven't been disappointed. Nice feature set, clear picture, smooth video, and lots of adjustment in the picture settings.
Only thing I would change, it would be nice to be able to remove the stub on the back where the desk stand would connect to the monitor, since I'm using it with a monitor arm bracket. If there is a way to do so, I haven't figured it out yet. Certainly not a big deal, though.
That said, I would highly recommend this to anyone considering a curved monitor!
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stupid fixed mount cannot be removed

These are nice monitors. Buying them with only DP / HDMI and the fixed stand makes them more price competitive. However, if you have a user who wants a height adjustable base or wall mount, you CAN'T remove the top of the cheap included base. See the attached photo.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: crappy mount design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

the monitor itself is fine. the problem is that when you mount it you cannot remove the stub for the stand.
it is actually hard to believe that someone thought that making it impossible to remove the stand attachment was a good idea.
i buy a lot of samsung products because the design is usually pretty good. what a let down this purchase is.
a customer can easily find similar monitors without the design flaw of this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great 27 inches curved monitor for the price

This is great monitor! There is one issue I wish the monitor upper neck is not attached, so when I mount to the VESA mount stand it would look better.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Inexpensive, easy eye mode
Cons: upper monitor neck is attached from the factory

2 monitors create a really nice surround view of spreadsheets. How else do you want to look at spreadsheets?
Crystal clear, great colors (I look at more than just boring work stuffs,) and just the right size for a medium size desk.
