[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung 27” Odyssey G7 is honestly really awesome. I love the dual mode setup and how you can jump between a smooth 360Hz in full HD or a super sharp 180Hz in 4K UHD easily. The fast IPS panel and 4K resolution make every color pop with accuracy, and the HDR10 brings out deep shadows and bright highlights that actually look realistic, not washed out.
Gameplay feels really responsive, I also love that it has auto source switch+, so it instantly swaps to whatever device I turn on and I no longer need to be digging through menus.
the ergonomic stand is super practical, you can tilt, raise, or pivot it for the perfect angle and the ultra thin bezels and matte anti glare coating make it better by blocking reflections. I would say that it does have the elite performance, crisp visuals, and a monitor that adapts to everything you throw at it, definitely worth it in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great monitor, especially for gaming.If I were looking for a monitor just for gaming. The visuals are amazing the flexibility of “detail” mode and “speed” mode means it covers both worlds.The frames are really good when playing on our game console X and the colors are amazing . The monitor gives nice frame rate feedback and looks like it maintains a 120fps with no clipping in motion. I’d recommend it, with the caveat that you make sure you’ll use and benefit from the high-end specs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Odyssey G70F feels durable and professional, and positive features include an adjustable stand, a built-in cable management system, and quick setup with included HDMI and DisplayPort cables.
Powering on from sleep mode takes nearly 15 seconds for my personal set-up, which is noticeably slower than my other monitors that wake in about four seconds. It’s only slightly annoying though, not a deal breaker and might be something I can tweak. I’m usually fiddling around during this short time span anyhow.
It has an 180 Hz refresh rate, providing incredibly smooth motion with no visible ghosting, blurring, or input lag. My fast-paced games feel fluid and responsive, while its 4K resolution makes slower, cinematic titles look stunningly detailed.
Out of the box, colors are inaccurate and HDR appears washed out, but with manual tuning, the image quality improves dramatically, producing vibrant tones and balanced contrast. Dark scenes are handled adequately but they can’t match the deep blacks of an OLED display.
The monitor’s brightness, clarity, and easy controls make it nice for everyday use or entertainment.
Although I’m sure this is only from my setup, Its shortcomings for me personally include slow wake time and average HDR, but are small trade-offs for its performance and sharp visuals.
Best for: All types of gamers, from competitive players to immersive explorers.
Easy to set up. Recommended.

Great Monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a huge gamer and normally play console games, but I hooked my gaming laptop up to the monitor. The graphics are great and I love how large the screen is compared to my 16" laptop. It does swivel a lot and more than I think is necessary, but I like the concept for the people that will use it in the matter. It was easy to put together and comes with the necessary cables to hook up various ways. My laptop automatically recognized the monitor and was able to mirror the screen effortlessly. This is my first time using an external monitor for my laptop, so it's been a bit of a learning curve making sure it's working correctly and it's updated, but it comes with great instructions that can easily be accessed online. I'd highly recommend it to anyone that wants to up their gaming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try the Samsung Odyssey G7 because I’ve heard great things about it, but honestly I expected more. The picture quality is beautiful, the colors are vibrant, the graphics are super sharp, and it definitely enhances gaming visuals. Everything looks crisp whether you’re gaming, streaming, or just working on it. For the price point I thought it would stand out a lot more.
Overall it’s a good monitor for performance and display quality, but in my opinion, it's just a regular monitor.

Works Great with Xbox X Series

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The monitor was easy to unpack and assemble. I was able to handle it by myself without any help. The monitor was compatible with Xbox X Series console that we use. We had to go into XBox setting and change the refresh rate to 120Mhz to get it to work properly. The quality of graphics is excellent and very sharp. We have no lag issues with playing fast paced sports games or first person shoot style games.

Amazing Screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This screen just made me a Samsung screen guy for life. The clarity when working on picture and video edits is crazy. I love how the blacks are deep and rich and the colors are so vibrant. To say I am impressed is an. understatement. This screen blew me away. Also when playing games, the clarity in seeing enemies from afar is perfect. Im so used to playing on my living room tv however this made it so much better and the FOV was easier to deal with as well on this screen.
Let’s talk about setup. This only took maybe 2mins to setup. The spine connects to the base in mere seconds and the groves make it impossible to do wrong. Once you have that attached, just place the backplate on by following the guidelines built into the mold of the screen and it all snaps in place. Fastest 2min setup ever.
If you game or do edits, this screen is a must have!!!
