Its great gaming monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh boy, my Samsung Monitor is my absolute joyride every single day! 😄 I binge-stream Netflix epics with its vibrant QLED colors that pop like fireworks, making every scene feel alive. Gaming? Epic wins on my PS5 with the lightning-fast 144Hz refresh rate—no lag, just pure adrenaline rushes! For work, the eye-comfort mode saves my peepers during marathon Zoom calls and spreadsheet sorcery, while split-screen multitasking turns chaos into cheerful productivity. Movies on lazy Sundays? The HDR magic wraps me in cinematic bliss. It's like having a happiness portal on my desk—transforms routines into raves

great gaming monitor but weird on/ off behavior

Excellent gaming monitor but has an issue waking up from the windows PC turning off the monitor, like I have to push the power button or Control Alt Delete to force the windows log on. I've never had a monitor that doesn't like waking up from sleep like this.
The brightness and response is excellent and the refresh rate and gsync work fine for me.

wylin923:

Thank you for your review, and we appreciate you sharing your experience with the screen waking up from Windows PC turning off the monitor.

Please try the following steps which may help resolve this:

1. Adjust Monitor Menu Settings:
Disable EcoTimer: Access the monitor's on-screen menu (OSD) and turn off any eco-saving or sleep timers (e.g., "EcoTimer") that force the monitor into deep sleep.

Check Source Detection: Ensure the input source is set to "Auto" or manually select the port you are using (HDMI/DP) rather than relying on auto-detection

2. Update Firmware. Ensure your Monitor is running the latest firmware: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now

3. PC Power Settings: Disable Fast Startup: In Windows, search for "Power Options" > "Choose what the power buttons do," click "Change settings that are currently unavailable," and uncheck Turn on fast startup.Adjust Sleep Settings: Go to "Power & sleep settings" and adjust when the screen turns off to see if the issue is with the PC failing to send a wake signal.

We hope these tips help improve your experience. If you need further support, feel free to contact us at 1-800-SAMSUNG between 8AM - 9PM EST Monday - Friday, and 8AM - 6PM Saturday and Sunday. LiveChat is also available via the ‘Support’ link on our website.
