Cooking on low WILL burn your food.

I have only used this model twice to slow cook some chili. After setting it up on low for a 6-hour timer, I, like many others, thought it would be safe to leave and take care of some other things before the meal was ready. Both times, I come back to check on the chili within two hours, and the chili is already starting to burn. Two hours? What's the point of having the timer if there only seems to be one temperature setting?

Only has one heat setting. Boiling. High, low, keep warm is all boiling. Not sure how I'm going to be able to return it as it was a gift.

I bought this to update, I should have read reviews before buying, third time using and still same results everything boils even on keep warm. Thinking that i just need to throw in trash. I see all the same reviews, is there a fix or recall? I bought because of brand, I guess that doesn't matter anymore

Clip on for portability

I am so unhappy, I bought this crock pot after researching which one to buy for months, I bought this one because it has the clip on for easy portability. Welp I went to go get it today and the clip is missing off the lid, I've used it 4 times. I'm so upset!

I have had a love-hate relationship with slow cookers my entire adult life. Should be simple, right? Put the stuff in it, put the lid on, press a couple of buttons. It never seemed to matter which buttons I pressed or what I chose to put inside. Something inevitably went wrong almost every time!
So, I just gave up and donated my last one to someone who needed one.

When I got the chance to try this one by Crockpot, I hesitantly jumped on board. Not because there's anything wrong with the product! Oh, no, I take responsibility for the many previous not-so-great results. That's why I was hesitant!
I am so very glad I accepted the offer for this free product. First of all, it's beautiful. I love that it's grey and white and it fits in well with my kitchen colors! It looks fancy, modern but classic, it has easy to see buttons, and I really like the size. 7 quarts is a good size and I will finally be able to cook a decent sized roast with all the veggies in the same pot! Please don't ask me why this hasn't happened before now. Oh, the lid is great too. It has a gasket and it locks onto the pot. A nifty feature that I didn't know existed before now.
My first meal was a chuck roast that I turned into tacos. It was incredibly tender, flavorful, and it worked out great. My husband was pleased with the results and we were excited about the other meals I'll be trying out. I apologize that I forgot to take pictures of the tacos🤦🏼♀️.
Clean up was easy by hand. The funny part came when I attempted to put my new slow cooker by Crockpot away. I don't have a cabinet for it because they're either too small or already occupied. My new cooking tool is, yep, you guessed it, on top of the fridge. It's attractive enough to be on display so I don't mind.
Overall, I am quite pleased with it. I definitely recommend giving this a try.

I love that it came before the holidays!! It is going to make cooking so much easier. I love that it cleans so easily.. if you don't have one yet, go get one!! They are amazing!!
