I have yet to install the latch. Looks like a simple repair to me, and great service. I purchased my Igloo cooler in 1982 and I can still get parts. WOW

The replacement latches were installed quickly and easily. I thought the latches were a bit pricey, but if they last as long as the originals (10-plus years) they will be well worth it.
I wanted to buy the more durable metal versions, but they were sold out.
