Saves space in pack and stays cold for a good length of time but doesn’t spread the cold out throughout my backpack cooler like a flatter wide freeze pack might. I had to use two of them to keep a small number of beverages (3) really cold for the afternoon and that added a lot of extra weight to my pack.

Still frozen 14 hours in a backpack “cooler,” bigger is better and this still fits in my backpack cooler with three square and a big old tumbler of iced coffee.

A little bigger than I thought initially so I had purchased 2 for use with my Igloo 24-pack backpack cooler. The one is plenty to keep it cool/also they're not light so you wouldn't want to use more than that in a backpack anyway. I would still prob recommend this size in the larger coolers too if you want more flexibility with how to use the space since they're modular so they fit next to each other perfectly
