I LOVE everything about it so far! The camera is out of this world, this picture is amazing, I love the look and feel. Its perfect and highly recommended!!
I am not the reviewing type but this phone is worth my time to review(S-10 128GB). I am a long time "Fruit" ecosystem resident that wanted to switch. Mostly due to pricing creep on new devices and the fact that they are far different from the company they started out to be(innovative and fresh thinking). I wanted to get a phone with features i wanted and crisp display and that was super user friendly. Samsung, with this phone you have hit it out of the part. I know flagship phones are supposed to be top of the line but this is amazing. The phone build quality and camera in this thing alone are reason to spend the price for it. I do not have extra cash to spend on a device that would not perform so I did research on the next big phone purchase. Samsung has consistently improved on design and past reviews are all positive. Switching from the fruit to the S10 was a breeze. I know its a big leap to jump out of the "fruit bowl" to the other side but Samsung has made it so easy. This phone performs and as a primary device and is worth it. Its a must buy device....do not wait to switch. I know because it is exactly what the fruit folks have been missing.
I loved. using it for the last 2 weeks and no complaints about it. Many say fingerprint scanner is not that good but it works very smooth and fast for me. great screen.
I came from a Note 8. I was getting tired of how big my phone was and the battery life was starting to decrease. This was the first time that I preordered a device. I process which has really been to my liking.
Now on to the S10. I went with the standard S10 because I waanted a normal sized phone but still wanted a big screen. That has worked out well for me. The screen is just a little smaller than what I had before, but the body is a good deal smaller. I couldn't be happier with that.. I don't use a case unless I'm exercising and the phone feels so small and light, yet so powerful.
The cameras are great. I freaking love the shots that I get from that super wide angle lens. Plus, along with the processing of the photos, I have gotten some really great pictures.
Battery life. It started out just okay. I got through a full day. Of course when you are setting up a new phone you use the heck out it to move and set up all of your apps. After that was done I have been pleased. I get to the end of the day with anywhere from 40 to 60% on most days. Some days I have super light usage and end the day with 75%.
One UI. The UI is well executed and looks good to work with. I tried something different and instead of making my icons super dense on my screen, I scaled back to 4x5, like the default layout. Yes it made the icons larger, but after using it for a while I found it to be a realy good and modern look.
Dex. I didn't use it much with my Note 8. With the S10. I find myself using my PC less and less. I even set it up at work so I can use it for personal "computer" use while in the office. Just Wow!
There are other good things about the device and not a lot of negatives. This was a good buy. With the deal I got for trading in my Note 8 and the included Galaxy Buds. I am smiling from ear to ear.
I love this phone, the design, the screen and the cameras! I moved up from my S9 and am definitely impressed! So far it's been great learning what the phone can do and the performance has been impressive. My hands are adjusting to the size difference and the accidental palm swipes.
My only con (and reason for start deduct) is that I've experienced multiple dropped calls the past 3 days. I have never dropped a call with the S9 so I don't know what's going on with this phone, I hope it's something that will get fixed either through software or with the phone network. Anyone else experiencing this? It's been really frustrating losing calls within minutes of each other!!!
