Had this phone for one week. I told everyone it sucks. I was told I just need to get used to it. This phone is missing several things. When texting I can no longer send a profile photo with the text. This phone does not allow me to delete all with promotional and social. Each one has to be deleted individually. But it does have to cameras. LOL Something I will never use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely disappointed with the way my phone arrived. Being a brand new product the box should have arrived sealed and that was not the case. The packaging (box) used was too big, then, when I opened, the phone and all the pieces were all over the place. I hope the item is not refurbished or the phone presents any defects.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Funny, I thought Samsung changed. See pictures, can't imagine what's gonna happen if I didn't wake up @ midnight to check. The connector plastic part has melted and caused the cable hard to get pulled off. Now waiting for Samsung's very-long-time repairing schedule.
I have used an Apple iPhone ever since the iPhone 4 came out. Yes, I was the typical fanboy. However, over the years apple has kept releasing new phones and raising the price but not getting any new features. After I saw what Samsung was doing and the android operating system I had to try it out. I LOVE IT! I can customize things to exactly the way I want them. Yes, the operating system took a minute to get used to but that is only because I have never used it before. The phone feels premium in my hand and very comfortable. Love the features and look.
Switch from AT&T S8 to S10 Unlocked. Signal is bad when comparing it to my wifes S9 AT&T phone. Lost all the Carrier features VoLTE, Wifi Calling, etc, which its a Carrier limitation but sucks, this doesn't happen with Apple Phones. The most annoying part is how buggy the phone is, but might be Android's fault more than the phone itself, same Android version on S8 was solid and no problems with same apps. Currently phone restarts randomly throughout the day and/or Apps crash randomly requiring a reset. I have factory reset the phone two times already trying to pinpoint if its an App problem or overall OS problem. Crashes continue to happen once or twice a week, not sure if its something related to caching or memory leak in the current android version.
I bought it thinking I would upgrade to a better phone but actually it feels more like a downgrade.
I've had the phone for about three months now, and it's been an amazing experience. Battery life is incredible, the fingerprint scanner works perfectly, the display is perfect...I am beyond satisfied with the product and it's worth the price. Not sure why some people are complaining about the scanner. Perhaps they didn't set it up properly.
I don't know what happened with Samsung but this phone is absolutely horrible compared to my S7 active. The voice to text is 100% awful it's like the downgrade Half the time the facial recognition doesn't work. It just seems like they rushed or didnt care as much as they did in the past
I cannot totally disable Bixby and in my opinion the phone deserves a zero for this. In our rural setting, I am not receiving some calls and others are dropped. Despite two trouble shooting sessions, no one can figure out what the problem is. The camera is poor for anything moving (live animals and birds). I also get ads all the time that interfere with taking photos. No one can fix this either. I will return to an iPhone when this one expires. I am so disappointed. The phone is a waste of money.
