Longer cord needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love these lights because I wanted to string them around my TV. However, the cord is not long enough for the project that I wanted to create and there’s not an option to connect the lights if you wanted to have more there is a hole at the last light, but I don’t see how if I got another set you would be able to connect the lights so is missing that feature. The installation is easy to stick on the wall however, the plug is a USB so you would either need to have your own block or plug it into a TV.

Nice lights but poor connectivity to app

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Monster Smart 2-sided sconce lights seem to be very well-built. There are 5 of them on 12ft of cable. There are different patterns when you hit the button on the cable, from one uniform color for all lights or each light being a different color, or a mix of the two. To power them you have to connect them to a USB port, so you’ll need an adapter if you were planning on using a nearby outlet. I gave 3 stars because even after trying 5 times with perfect WiFi strength, I could not get the lights to connect to my network, so I never got to try out the functionality of the app as far as customizing and programming them. I realize this could be a problem with the network and not the lights themselves, but there is no feedback to tell you if it’s a network issue. It just loads forever and eventually shows the homepage again as if you never initiated the connection.

Pretty, but not all that practical

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, these lights are very pretty. Starting with pros, they have lots of lighting options, especially if you use their app. And I like that you can twist each light at the base so that it fits better into your lighting scheme.
Cons: it doesn’t come with a wall plug. I don’t own a ton of wall plugs, especially the old USB style, so I had to borrow a plug from my husband’s phone charger. Next, I very much dislike that they used electrical cable with text on it (see my photos) like you’d find at a hardware store. It looks cheap.
Finally, and this is definitely personal preference and didn’t affect my rating, but I don’t like how prominent the wires are between each light. This type of sconce lighting would be better served with batteries so you wouldn’t have a bunch of cords dangling on your walls. For that reason, I haven’t yet found the perfect spot for these in my home, but I might use them to light up some built-ins if I can figure out the cord management aspect.

Cool lights in room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Monster smart lighting multi-position two-sided sconce for my son, and I have to say, he absolutely loves them! The design is really cool and fits nicely in his room. What I love most is how versatile they are—he can adjust the lights to get the perfect look for whatever he’s doing, whether it’s studying or just hanging out.
The colors are vibrant, and he enjoys switching things up depending on his mood. Installation was pretty straightforward, which was a relief. Overall, I think it’s a great buy, and it’s really brightened up his space. Definitely recommend if you're looking to add a fun touch to a room!

Awesome lights!

I like them behind the tv the best, as they are hidden and out of the way. It looks cleaner and more put together! They are easy to control and hook up. My family and I are happy we got to get these!

Fun, unique lighting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was a breeze, originally thought I'd have to screw them into the wall however the adhesive is incredible strong. They've been up for weeks and not a budge. I synced them to my Google home, makes turning on/off even easier. I like the customization options and different preset scenes. I wasn't able to get the music mode to work very well, it really only picked up low low bass and high hats.
I knocked a star off is because the second sconce will randomly turn itself on. Sometimes it'll stay on after turning the strip off, sometimes it's just on, even on days the sconces don't get turned on.
That being said, I would buy more of these, they're fun and inexpensive.
